    Product Description

    SDP 3" High-flow Billet Y-Bridge & Intercooler Pipe kit - LBZ LMM

    This is our new high-flow billet 3" Y-bridge with a full 3” bore! We used computational fluid dynamic software to test the air flow and turbulence in the factory Y-bridge, and using the results from this testing, we implemented a diverter vane on the inlet that splits the airflow to both runners and maximizes flow potential and minimizes air turbulence. This translates to real world results, you'll notice quicker responsiveness and HP gains. Machined on our 5 axis CNC mill and designed in-house, our 6061 billet Y-Bridge not only has a perfect fit, but is the only Y-bridge on the market of its kind. Our 5 axis machine Y-bridge requires less setups than a 3 axis machined part, meaning the flange surfaces are machined in the same operation making for a 100% perfect fit every time. Due to the nature of others hand-fabricated units, welding them results in warpage and distortion, they will never fit 100% perfectly. Others 3-axis machined Y-bridges require multiple setups that add time(cost to you) and the potential for human error with misalignment that you will notice on install.
     
    With our steel bolt-on neck, there are no worries about clamping the T-bolt clamp to the silicone boot too tightly and bending the tubing (such as with aluminum tubing designs), and the provided silicone o-ring ensures a proper seal at all boost levels. Other cast designs with 3" OD are typically 1/2" smaller ID (inside diameter) than our billet design, which dramatically reduces the amount of air it will flow. With our Y-bridge you get the best of both worlds, higher flow AND strength, along with the easiest install for a 3" Y-bridge available!
     
     

    -True 3" Y-bridge that is perfect for trucks with small or large twin kits! Also works with the factory turbo configuration.

    -Tubing has precisely rolled beads to make install easier and keep the boot from blowing off.

    -Includes miscellaneous parts which are all made in the USA such as the black aramid reinforced silicone boots, T-bolt clamps, heat shrink wrap, high temp silicone O-ring and any necessary mounting hardware.

    -Includes both Intake runner to Y-bridge gaskets

    -The 09-10 trucks require a MAP sensor seal which is included in the kit.

     

     

    The driver side intercooler pipe strap connects the top of the driver side intercooler pipe to the top of the turbo compressor housing to prevent the intercooler pipe from blowing off the turbo in high boost situations. 

     

    The Y-bridge, studs, intercooler plumbing and intake horn are all manufactured under the roof of SDP's shop with our custom powdercoating to top it off in any color that you choose.

      Quality parts!

      First off, wow this was a nightmare install. I appreciate everything sdp does to simplify the installation but there is no simplifying any of this modification. If certain parts are still intact on your truck it does make it that much longer of a process. The y bridge has definitely made an improvement in throttle response and spool up. Truck sounds even better too. I have other sdp parts on the truck and these complimented eachother nicely. None of the other y bridges seemed as high quality, I loved their cnc machine work on this part and fitment was perfect. Sdp is known for their high quality and this kit was no different!

      Great quality. I had issues with some other companies craftsmanship and this kit was well put together and installed much easier than ones I’ve previously done. I’ll be purchasing an intake from them soon.

      Great quality, vibrant colors, had a 1” scratch on the intercooler pipe but not worried since it’s hidden away.

      I will start with saying that this is an excellent product. The long wait was definitely worth it. It takes some time to install. I was installing a turbo at the same time, so that took some more time as well. There are some things I wasn’t prepared for like the right fit next to the fuel return lines, but overall I’m 100% satisfied with this product.

      Took some time to get it installed but very pleased with how it was packaged and shipped. Best 2 piece kit out there and the finish is very durable and not just something thrown together.

      I purchased this and an LB7 up pipe. The fit and finish are top-notch. I did plenty of research before purchasing, and the fact that this bridge is 100% milled and no welds was a huge selling point for me! Then having Scott there to answer any questions was great! I'll be a customer from now on! Great work, SDP!! Excellent craftsmanship and support!

      Let me start off by saying this is a pain in the butt to install. Took me a day and a half to do mostly solo. When I got the parts in the mail I was shocked at how well they packed it, ceran wrap on everything, and lots of other packing material. The powder coating was perfect, well worth the money. Looks so much better under the hood now.

      After ordering another companies Y-Bridge and having an unsuccessful install due to poor craftsmanship, fit and finish, I reached out to Scott at SDP and told him my situation. Scott was very helpful and sincere about my situation and went to work making me a Y-bridge kit for my LMM. These are made to order! When I recieved the Y-Bridge from SDP, I knew this was a Top-notch product, fitment and quality is second to none. Install was a breeze, the two-piece studded design is awesome and allows room to work. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is considering a Y-Bridge install.
