SDP Built Allison 1000 Transmission with Billet Torque Converter
*Freight includes shipping BOTH ways and it must be a commercial address with a forklift or extra shipping charges may be applied.
This Allison 1000 is built in house to the highest of standards and includes a Goerend triple disc billet torque converter. All of our Allisons are built the same (clutch pack stackup) whether you're looking for a 1000+RWHP truck or you're looking for a reliable transmission for your 500HP daily driver. Our transmissions have been in several dozens of 1000+RWHP trucks with lots of abuse drag racing, dyno runs and sled pulling all on the same build for a full season. No matter your power level or what you do with the truck, we use the most robust clutch pack combinations possible, which is why we feel more than comfortable with being able to offer the lifetime warranty for an additional cost in sub 650rwhp applications. We set them up according to your predicted power level and we can add billet shafts/hub, C3 PTO oiling holes or a pan for the cost of parts. It is preferred to use your current transmission that is in your truck but we do have over 100 cores on the shelf which we can use to build one to order with specs for your truck and how you drive. - Billet P2 planet is required above 800rwhp, recommended when doing a billet C2 hub
- Billet input and output are extra, required above 900rwhp
-Powder coating the unit is $565. If this option is selected, please tell us your color choice in the order comments.
We can have your transmission shipped to us to build, or build one of our cores to your specs and ship it to you. Contact us regarding shipping costs and times. Our fixed rate of $1075 is for round trip freight (to you and your core back to us is included) if going to a commercial address with a forklift. If you send your transmission to us on an open pallet, we charge $165 extra for the crate that it will be returned to you with, the transmission must be crated to have insurance on the shipment. The transmissions ship without the converter in them, they are drop shipped separately as to not put stress on the pump.
*We recommend that you add an aftermarket transmission cooler (do not use Mishimoto brand as major leaks from the soft hose/worm gear clamps are prone to leaking with trans failure) if you plan to tow heavy in higher temperature climates (factory or AN lines only, we do not approve of crimping soft hose to the factory hard line as it will blow off over time with the added pressure and cause failure).
*The transmission cooler and heat exchanger MUST be cleaned using a HotFlush machine, and the TCM must have the TAPS reset (in some cases, a new TCM may be required).
*The core must come back within 30 days in rebuild-able condition in order to qualify for the full core refund. This includes but not limited to; planetaries, pump housings, shafts, gears, housings etc. Please allow 10-15 business days for inspection before the core refund begins processing. $300 applies to the torque converter, $400 for the shipping crate, and $1,300 for the transmission itself.
*The Powdercoating option will add at least 2 weeks to the current build time. If you select a Goerend Pan and powder coating, the pan will be coated to match, the Mag-Hytec pan will be left in their standard black powder coated color unless otherwise discussed.

Any expressed warranty is only valid if the install requirements are followed as specified, there is a sheet provided with the transmission, if it cannot be found upon arrival, please email us and we can email a copy. A warranty on our transmission does not include original factory hard parts if not opted to upgrade such as shafts, planetaries, stock C2 hub, stator in the converter (ex. C converter option) etc.

Awesome
So far I have a little over 500 miles on the transmission, and it is night and day between my old one and this one. You can really feel the TC lockup, which the old one you couldn't even tell. They have some amazing cuter service. Scott has answered my calls and questions, and he worked with me on last minute scheduling changes.

Very Nice, Well Built Transmission
I had this trans installed by SDP at their shop and it shifts very smoothly and doesn't run all the much hotter than stock. 10/10 would recommend

2006 CCSB 500hp
I did a lot of research before bringing my truck to SDP to build my allison. After talking to Scott and Jake over the phone. There was no question these guys eat breath and sleep Duramax. It's like a brand new truck, only better. I love hot rodding, power braking, and generally abusing my truck. Also tow 10k lbs a few times a month. Temperatures are the same as when my stock tranny was still good, and i beleive I am getting better fuel mileage. But I havent been able to keep my foot out of the skinny peddle long enough to really find out. This transmission handles everything I have thrown at it. The shifts are solid and the triple disc TC tops it off. I can definitely feel the power hitting the ground now. I would highly recommend SDP to anyone looking for quality and expertise. I drove 4.5hrs to take my truck to them and I would have gone further if I had to. Especially after feeling it.

06 LBZ ccsb ~850-1000 HP trans build
After getting burned on a "built" transmission from an online forum, I gave Scott a call. Scott tore into it and reported that it was nearly the worst builds he has seen. Many of the clutches were installed backwards and several of the internal parts were destroyed. Scott worked his magic and the transmission now performs flawlessly. All of the shifts are smooth and quick and it has held up to everything I have thrown at it so far. If anybody is having trouble deciding who to have build your transmission, look no further than SDP. Scott is very devoted to his job and he will make sure you are taken care of, no matter what your performance need is.

Would like to Thank all the guys at sdp that made my trans build happen in very short notice!. Personally thank Scott for really taking care of me and great guy to work with! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Got my trans built and have like 2000 miles on it now. No issues at all. Tc locks up great and holds very well. Rather impressed compared to my old trans that slipped under load or on highway pulls. Will definetly have future purchases with SDP!
