SDP Compound twin kit for 2.8L Duramax with SX-E Billet turbo
*Currently made to order with an estimated 12 weeks from the time order is placed until it ships. We cannot guarantee the time frames as there are some elements out of our hands which gets passed down to us from certain suppliers on material. By purchasing this product, you agree to the delays and we cannot refund without a cancellation fee once the order is in process.
*For an emissions compliant setup, your factory Oxidizer/downpipe must be sent in so that we can modify it to work with the factory exhaust or there will be a charge of $450 for a new unit for us to start with. We modify it to allow it to fit in the compound turbo application and stay emissions compliant. It will also be Ceramic coated with the hot parts which will greatly help with keeping heat in the exhaust.
With this twin kit, we have nearly doubled factory HP levels with LOWER EGT's than stock. Stock was 161rwhp on our dyno, now 310rwhp with the twin kit and a mild tune. We would recommend keeping the factory engine below the 260rwhp/480rwtq range as we have had good luck with longevity at this level.
Expect quicker throttle response, much lower EGT's and more power to go with it.
As with all of our other compound turbo kits, we pride ourselves in making sure that the turbo kit is as complete as possible down to the mounting hardware, clamps and gaskets.
The kit includes the following:
S300SX-E turbo (Billet with race cover)
CNC machined flanges TIG welded to the plumbing
CNC machined/tapped and laser cut turbo mount that is very rigid
All necessary plumbing powder coated in-house whatever color you would like
All necessary exhaust plumbing with Cerakote Glacier coating
Heat wrap
All factory sensor mounts TIG welded in place
Oil feed and drain lines with Vibrant AN line and fittings + Custom SS CNC'd fittings
Dry air filter
Our custom coolant expansion tank with CNC fittings and TIG welded
Stainless clamps and high quality silicone boots
3 extra 1/8" NPT ports that can be used for Boost pressure gauge, wastegate lines, injectables etc.
All necessary bolts, nuts, gaskets and clamps
*Custom Tuning will be necessary (ie. EFI Live)
